Fuji tea
I’m having Japanese black tea with milk. It is served with a lunch set at Fuji restaurant. The ceramic cup is so tiny you hold it with virtually just the tip of your thumb and index finger. I call it an Endimion fairy size.
I’m feeling charmed.
On my mind are things Hazel. As the very first post on this new blog I thought I’d share something theme – reflective, in merry ambling fashion: the first stanza of W.B. Yeats’ “The Song of Wandering Aengus”
I went out to the hazel wood, Because a fire was in my head, And cut and peeled a hazel wand, And hooked a berry to a thread; And when white moths were on the wing, And moth-like stars were flickering out, I dropped the berry in a stream, And caught a little silver trout.
